Women's Handgun Instructional Safety Class

Free class offered to the public!

April 22, 2017 - Jacksonville Beach FOP Lodge 17

The Sawgrass Sport Shooting Association and the Jacksonville Beach FOP will hold a free class for women interested in learning about safe handgun handling and safe shooting techniques. It will be held on April 22, 2017 at the FOP Lodge 17 in South Jacksonville Beach. The class will be run from 10 AM to 1 PM. It is free to the public but registration is required.

The class will be limited to the first 18 women registered. You must be 18 years old or older to participate. No experience is required. You may call one of the numbers listed on this flyer to register or simply fill out this form. Weapons and ammo will be provided. If you have your own weapon, please bring it, unloaded to the range. No weapons are allowed in the classroom. Bring your own personal safety gear if you have it, eye and ear protection.

The FOP Lodge is located on 36 beautiful wooded acres is South Jacksonville Beach. The Lodge is available to reserve for your special event. Please reserve the lodge if you are interested.

The Dock and Fishing Hole

Saltwater Fishing Pond (Tarpon Hole)
There is a walkway and dock on a saltwater pond known as the Tarpon Hole. There is some great fishing available and it is open to all members. Folks are known to catch Reds, Trout, Drum and Flounder.
